Return & Refund Policy
This policy outlines the standard rules for cancellations, refunds, and credits for court bookings made through the Padel Lite software.
Please note that specific rules may vary slightly by individual club, so always check the club's policy at the time of booking.
1. Cancellation Policy
- Standard Cancellation Window: To receive a full refund, you must cancel your court booking at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time. This is a common policy to allow the club enough time to re-book the court.
- Late Cancellations: If you cancel your booking less than 24 hours before the start time, you will not be eligible for a refund. The full booking fee will be charged to your account.
- No-Shows: If you do not show up for your booked court and have not cancelled, you will be charged the full amount of the booking fee.
2. Refund Process
- How to Cancel: All cancellations must be made directly through the Padel Lite app. You will find an option to "Cancel Booking" or a similar function in your booking details.
- Refund Method: If you are eligible for a refund, the money will be returned to your original payment method (e.g., credit card). Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, as processing times can vary depending on your bank.
3. Inclement Weather Policy
- Unplayable Conditions: If a court is deemed unplayable due to heavy rain, flooding, or other severe weather conditions, the club's management will make the final decision to cancel the booking or re-schedule.
- How to Handle Weather Cancellations: In the case of a club-initiated weather cancellation, you will typically be offered a full refund or a credit to your Padel Lite account. Some clubs may offer to reschedule your game instead of issuing a refund.
- Light Drizzle: Play may continue during light drizzle. The decision to play is at your own risk. Refunds will generally not be issued if play is possible but you choose not to play. If you believe the court is unsafe, you must contact the club directly before the start time.
- Lightning: If lightning is detected nearby, play will be stopped immediately for safety reasons. Depending on the duration of the delay, you may be offered a reschedule or a partial credit.
4. Booking Errors
- Grace Period: Padel Lite may offer a short grace period (e.g., 1 hour) after a booking is made to allow you to cancel without a fee in case of a mistake. This is not a universal policy and should be confirmed in the app.
- Modifying a Booking: The app may not allow you to modify a booking (e.g., change the time). In such cases, you must cancel the original booking and create a new one, adhering to the cancellation policy.
